THE Flanagan & Gerard Property Development and Sun Boardwalk have announced the appointment of Solo Nqweni as general manager and Kirsti Dolinschek as marketing manager at the new R500 million Boardwalk Mall in Gqeberha.
The first phase of the mall opens on March 24.
Nqweni, a former investment banking compliance analyst at Investec, joined the property development company last year in Johannesburg as an administrator in asset management, and the new role sees him returning to his home town.
A former professional cricket player, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Economics and Law from the Nelson Mandela University and post graduate certificates in business development management and investment management from the University of Cape Town.
Her prior experience includes working as account manager and regional operations manager for Print Outsource International in Gauteng.
Dolinschek graduated with an international Baccalaureate from UWC of South East Asia, Singapore, a B.Com Informatics from the University of Pretoria and a B.Com Honours degree in business management from the Nelson Mandela University.
“Solo and Kirsti will play an instrumental role in driving the Boardwalk Mall to put Gqeberha back on the map, as a tourism destination and a draw card for national and international sporting and entertainment events,” said Flanagan & Gerard managing director, Paul Gerard.
