Cricket SA top brass say Boucher, Smith appointment investigations out of their hands

Cricket South Africa’s independent board chairperson Lawson Naidoo said their hands were tied when it came to investigating the appointments of Mark Boucher and Graeme Smith.

Cricket South Africa’s independent board chairperson Lawson Naidoo said their hands were tied in terms of further investigating the appointments of Graeme Smith and Mark Boucher.

Speaking at the Parliamentary Sports Portfolio committee meeting on Tuesday, Naidoo said Boucher and Smith, the Proteas coach and CSA’s director of cricket respectively, had their appointments ratified by the Chris Nenzani-headed board.
